The snooze button was pressed again this
morning. Being up and down with a baby
at night doesn’t exactly make for a good night’s sleep. Finally dragging myself out of bed, I shower
with no time to wash my hair. The clip
goes in, makeup on…and now the chore of finding something to wear. Obviously, I’m not feeling as beautiful as my husband keeps telling me I am. Isn’t
that what husbands are taught to do…say whatever they need to in order to
make you feel better?
How about you? Do you ever have days where you are feeling
blah? Maybe you think if I just had a
new hair cut, a pedicure or a new outfit.
Well, guess what the King says about
you? He says, I am enthralled with your
beauty!(Psalms 45:11) That’s right ENTHRALLED
- another translation says DESIRES.
That should put a smile on your face!
It doesn’t matter if you feel like a maid, a referee, or a slave
today…you are first and foremost a daughter of the King and He thinks you are
beautiful! SO…act like it! When people ask why you are so joyful, tell
them!
